The 35mm and both
50mm lenses were dual range. The normal range-- 3 feet to --
is coupled to the camera rangefinder. By releasing a pin in the lens barrel,
close range focusing--3 to 1.5 feet-- is enabled, but not coupled. Kodak
provided an optional Close Range and View Finder unit (below) that handled
this range. It was parallax-corrected and was supplied with an additional
optical unit that slipped over the front camera rangefinder window.
