One of the Ektar pearls is this 35mm f /3.3, ($68 ca 1941) designed by Fred Altman. It is a Heliar design, very sharp and well corrected. The supplemental finder element shown here on the lens cap, is slipped over the front viewfinder window to widen its view.

	The 90mm f /3.5 Ektar ($85 ca 1941) is light and fast, by Ektra lens standards, though not particularly compact by modern standards for lenses of this length.
